Jibisha

Jibisha for classes and lessons

A full class should be full for everybody.

Counting places by hand across a group chat is how two people pay for the last spot. Jibisha holds the place the moment it is taken.

What goes wrong in a busy studio

  • Places counted by hand

Somebody who already paid is turned away, because nobody was sure how many were left.

  • The timetable retyped every week

The same list pasted into a group chat, and out of date by Tuesday.

  • Who is actually coming

The register lives in one person's memory until they are away.

  • Payments chased after the session

People attend first and pay later, and the two are never matched up.

This is the page your customers get.

A real Jibisha timetable, as a customer sees it on a laptop and on a phone. It is a screenshot of the running product, not a drawing of one.

How it runs

  1. 01

    You publish the sessions

Each one with its time, its trainer and how many places it holds.

  2. 02

People take the places that are left

They see the real count, not a promise, before they book.

  3. 03

The last place closes the class

Taken means held, so a full session stops accepting bookings.

  4. 04

The day reads as one list

Sessions, places taken and payments, in the same record.

What a studio gets

  • A published timetable customers can book from
  • A place count per session, enforced when it fills
  • Sessions assigned to a trainer
  • Payments and outstanding balances per booking
  • Classes and one-to-one lessons in one business
  • Daily cash close

Questions we get

What happens when a class fills up?
It stops taking bookings. The place count is checked and locked at the moment of booking, so two people cannot take the same last place.
Can I run one-to-one lessons as well as group classes?
Yes. A one-to-one is a session with a single place, so both live in the same timetable.
Do I have to create every week's sessions myself?
Yes, for now. Each session is published individually. Repeating a series automatically is not built yet, so we would rather say so than let you find out in week two.
